Ginseng Koko Chicken Soup(SamgyeTang) Recipe - 꼬삼탕(꼬꼬면삼계탕) 만드는법





Ginseng Koko Chicken Soup(SamgyeTang) Recipe



Ingredients

1 Chicken;
1/3 Cup Sticky Rice(Glutinous Rice);
5 Jujubes;
10 Garlic Counts;
1 Ginseng Root;
2 Milk Vetch Root;
little Salt & Pepper




Cooking Direction Step 1
Remove the tail part and internal organs of the chicken, the clean the inside as well. Make sure to remove yellow oil lump and trim the tip of the wings.

Wash Sticky Rice and soak in water for about 30 minutes.











Cooking Direction Step 3
Wash, cut, and prepare rest of the ingredients including garlic, jujube, ginseng and milk vetch.

Fill in the chicken with the rice, garlic, jujube, ginseng. Leftover ginseng rootlets will be used for the broth. *DO NOT fill all the way in*

Make a little opening cut in the back of the leg and put in other leg crossed.
*make the cut as near as possible to the bone*










Cooking Direction Step 6 *IMPORTANT*
Poor some water to the rice cooker or pot(like about half a way NOT too much).
Put in the rest of the ingredients such as garlic, some ginger(if you have some), milk vetch, ginseng. FINALLY PUT the KOKOMEN's SOUP MIX!





















Cooking Direction Step 7
Press "Cook" or "Boil" until it cooks. Takes about one(1) hour.

When it is ready, add salt or pepper for your spice.
